What to eat?
A pregnant woman may become moody with her food cravings. However, she must get used to the new rules of her new life and try her best to take care of her body by eating healthy food. The body of a pregnant woman provides all types of needed food for the baby, so healthy food is important for the mother and her baby. Having healthy food does not mean to over eat, but to eat the necessary types on a regular basis. However, food needs are different from one woman to another during pregnancy.

                                                      My Craving:
During pregnancy I crave chocolate more than anything else. I eat chocolate more than food. If I do not eat chocolate more than one time a day then I cannot sleep at night.
Types of healthy food:
1-      Milk and other Dairy Products: Provide Protein, Calcium, Vitamin A, and Vitamin B.
2-      Meat, Fish, and Egg: Provide Protein, Iron, and Vitamin B.
3-      Vegetables and Fruits: Provide Sugars, Vitamin C, Carotene, Folic acid, and Mineral Salts.
4-      Carbohydrates: Like Bread and Potatoes, Provide Starch, Protein, and Vitamin B.
5-      Fats: Like Butter and Fresh Cream, Provide Vitamin A. 
6-      Sugar and Sweets: Provide needed energy for the body.
7-      Water: The only drink that is indispensable.

Gaining Weight:
A pregnant woman must gain 9 to 12 Kg during pregnancy, it is important to keep updated with you weight gain. Click here to calculate your pregnancy weight gain.
A pregnant woman should eat three meals a day, with 2 snack meals. A pregnant woman should not be desperate with her weight, she must be aware that all the extra weight is to deliver a healthy baby. However, all the extra weight could be gone after delivering by having the right diet with the right exercises.  
Daily exercises:
The weight of the baby increases day after day, which also lead to increase a pregnant woman weight. Daily exercises help you to take care of you body and to avoid back pain.
